Furnace
An enclosed chamber or structure, including a burner and combustion chamber, which is provided for the combustion of fuel. The heat produced is used for heating a building or for processing materials. Also see batch-type, central, continuous, down-flow, duct, forced-air, horizontal, industrial, and upflow furnaces.
