About Ron Auvil

Ron Auvil is the Building Automation Subject Matter Expert for HVACRedu.net and guy that ‘wrote the book’ on Building Automation Systems.  He is a leading voice in today’s movement toward operational excellence, and is the author of “HVAC Control Systems” by American Technical Publishers, a go-to resource for HVAC professionals and educators.

As a lead instructor for a major controls manufacturer, Ron designed and taught a training program for new technicians, focusing on installing and troubleshooting mechanical systems and BAS (Building Automation Systems).

Beyond the classroom, Ron has extensive hands-on experience, having worked as a senior technician, troubleshooter, and project manager for some of the world’s largest and most quality-conscious companies.
