A continuation of the topic of reverse-cycle heat pumps used in residential and light commercial applications. This course concentrates on troubleshooting and servicing heat pump problems encountered by technicians in the field. Â The course is generic and not focused on one manufacturer. Emphasis is put on real-world troubleshooting and operation scenarios.
Recommended Prerequisites:Â You will want to have a strong working knowledge of basic HVACR fundamentals prior to enrollment into this course. Completion of the 135 Heat Pump course is encouraged.
Modules cover:
- Uncomplicating the Heat Pump; Servicing Refrigeration and Air Flow Systems.
- Uncomplicating the Heat Pump Electrical Systems Troubleshooting.
- A Heat Pump That Won’t Cool.
- A Heat Pump That’s Not Delivering Any Air
Each course purchase allows 60 days enrollment to complete. Must obtain a 70% or higher to obtain CEU recognition. Course provides you with a Subject Matter Expert (mentor) to assist with questions and all course materials for the duration of the course.
If you are only taking a few courses with us there is not a requirement for a textbook. We will always recommend to our students to have a good general textbook for reference, the mark of a professional!
