HVACR Refrigeration 141 provides a thorough examination of the refrigerant circuit as it is applied to both air conditioning and refrigeration purposes, and presents a practical and systematic method to diagnose problems in the refrigerant circuit. If you understand the parameters governing the operation of the refrigerant circuit, you will be able to diagnose any piece of equipment. Instruction aligns with ACCA Quality Installation & Maintenance Standards. This course is recognized for 18 hours of continuing education (CEHs) applicable to NATE re-certification.

Modules cover:

  • Basic Refrigeration Cycle Physics
  • Condensation and Condensers
  • Expansion and Metering Devices
  • Evaporation and Evaporators
  • Compression and Compressors
  • Measure the Normal Cycle

 

Each course purchase allows 365 days enrollment to complete. Must obtain a 70% or higher to obtain CEU recognition. Course provides you with a Subject Matter Expert (mentor) to assist with questions and all course materials for the duration of the course.

If you are only taking a few courses with us there is not a requirement for a textbook. We will always recommend to our students to have a good general textbook for reference, the mark of a professional!
