Background, regulations, impact on the industry, and application requirements are presented. The course provides the technician with practical knowledge for safe performance of service techniques on systems containing R-410A. When you have successfully completed this course, you will receive a certificate of completion that complies with many equipment manufacturers\u2019 policies requiring safety and service &#8220;certification&#8221; prior to purchasing equipment containing R-410A refrigerant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-35\">You will also receive a uniform patch and a wallet card for your use. Instruction aligns with ANSI\/ACCA Quality Installation &amp; Maintenance Standards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-36\"><strong>Recommended Prerequisites:<\/strong>\u00a0you will want to have a strong working knowledge of basic HVACR fundamentals prior to enrollment into this advanced course. This course is recognized for 18 hours of continuing education (CEHs) which are applicable to NATE re-certification. This course has been approved by International Comfort Products, LLC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-37\"><strong>Six Modules cover:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-38\">R &#8211; 410A Refrigerant Background<\/li>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-39\">R &#8211; 410A Refrigerant Regulatory Requirements<\/li>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-40\">R &#8211; 410A Refrigerant Basics<\/li>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-41\">R &#8211; 410A Refrigerant Safety, Handling, and Service Equipment<\/li>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-42\">R &#8211; 410A System Components, Retrofitting, and Charging<\/li>\n<li class=\"ai-optimize-43\">R &#8211; 410A System Operation and Troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-44\"><strong>&#8220;This course has been approved by International Comfort Products, LLC.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-48\"><font color=\"#c20000\"><i>Each course purchase allows 365\u00a0days enrollment to complete. A score of 70% or higher on the final assessment is required to obtain CEU recognition. Course provides you with a Subject Matter Expert (mentor) to assist with questions and all course materials for the duration of the course.
