This online course provides an introduction and advanced training on the topic of Electric Heat and Electric Heating components relative to the HVAC systems that are likely to be found by a Technician in residential and light commercial applications. Subjects covered in this course include electric heat terms and identification of the basic components utilized, types of electric heat systems, as well as advanced theory and servicing of Electric Forced Air Furnaces.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that you have a good understanding of HVACR Fundamentals and Electrical, or have a strong working knowledge of those topics, prior to enrollment into this advanced course. This course is NATE recognized for 15 hours of continuing education (CEHs) applicable to NATE re-certification.

Each course purchase allows 365 days enrollment to complete. Must obtain a 70% or higher to obtain CEU recognition. Course provides you with a Subject Matter Expert (mentor) to assist with questions and all course materials for the duration of the course.
