Our Online Technical Core Assessment (TCA) will reveal each technician’s strengths and weaknesses in nine CORE areas of HVAC/R and indicate their readiness for industry standards job performance and/or certification exams such as HVAC Excellence or NATE. We provide you with the results and recommendations for the targeted and specific training each technician may need.
We can customize any training pathway. No contract or commitment – pay only for the training you sign up for. We offer over 2600 hours of comprehensive, fully accredited HVAC and Refrigeration Training and Certification Programs with 24/7 online access. This gives your technicians the ability to train anywhere anytime. We also provide LIVE access to our SMEs and support team along with full reporting features to keep track of each learners progress.
If you’re a manager or supervisor, the TCA is a great way to establish a competency based training plan for new hires and existing technicians. It is a series of nine separate assessments focusing on HVACR Core knowledge areas. The questions for each assessment are randomly selected from a pool of qualified questions for that knowledge area.
You’ll receive automatic feedback after each assessment on if we recommend additional training or not. You will also receive a Professional Education Plan – a competency based training plan, customized for your (or your technician’s) needs. If you follow the plan and complete the courses or reviews recommended, it will bring your, (or your technician’s) knowledge up to the industry standards for CORE knowledge excellence and prepare you or your techs for certification exams.
If you are a technician, but you’re not sure where to start, or what to study first, start with this online assessment of your current knowledge. Don’t waste time taking classes you don’t need. The TCA will reveal your strengths and weaknesses in nine CORE areas of HVACR, and indicate your readiness for industry certification exams such as HVAC Excellence, or NATE.
