Refund Policy
HVACR Refund Policy
Student enrollments are paid through a number of avenues. HVACRedu.net will work with the purchasing party for each student’s enrollment. We will work with the student if the student purchased the course or program directly through HVACRedu.net. If the purchase was through an employer or through one of our partners, we will work with the paying individual who will communicate with the student. Employers and Partners will also be held to this policy.

Definitions:
Cancelled Enrollment:
If there was an error in enrollment, or if the student cancels enrollment within 72 hours after enrollment, and if no books were shipped, and if the student never accessed the course or program, then the refund will be 100%.
If there was an error in enrollment, or if the student cancels enrollment after books were shipped, but the student never accessed the course or program, the refund will be 100% of the enrollment price less all the sending and returning shipping charges for the books and a $50 administrative fee. The $50 administrative fee will be waived if the student enrolls in a different course or program.
Cancellation of a course:
A reasonable agreement shall be made with individual students if, for any circumstances beyond the control of the student, the course is canceled at any time before the course is completed.
Withdrawal after start of a COURSE: If the student paid.
A student may request a refund after withdrawal from a COURSE he has started. Refunds will be issued as follows:
If the student never accessed the course and notified us of the choice to withdraw any time during the first seven days, then the refund will be 100% of the purchase price minus any textbook price, shipping charges, and a $50 administrative fee.
If the student accessed the course and notified us of the choice to withdraw any time during the first seven days or within the first module of the course, and if the student did not attempt an exam, then the refund will be 100% of the purchase price minus any textbook price, shipping charges, and a $125 administrative fee.
If the student notifies us of the choice to withdraw and requests a refund after attempting an exam or after the first 7 days of a course, there will be no refund given.
Withdrawal after start of a PROGRAM: If the student paid.
A student may request a refund after withdrawal from a PROGRAM the student has started. Refunds will be issued as follows:
If the student who is enrolled in a PROGRAM never accessed the first course and notified us of the choice to withdraw within 60 days of enrollment, then the refund will be 100% of the purchase price minus any textbook price, shipping charges and a $50 administrative fee. After 60 days of inactivity there will be no refund of a program that the student never accessed.
If the student who is enrolled in a PROGRAM accessed the first course and notified us of the choice to withdraw any time during the first seven days or first module of the course, and if the student did not attempt an exam, then the refund will be 100% of the purchase price minus any textbook price, shipping charges, and a $125 administrative fee.
If the student enrolled in a PROGRAM notified us of the choice to withdraw and requested a refund after attempting an exam or after the first seven days of a program, then the refund will be calculated as shown below:
HVACRedu.net will keep any textbook price, shipping charges, and a $125 administrative fee, plus the amount equal to the full retail price (as shown in the campus store) of each COURSE the student has accessed / consumed in their PROGRAM only through the first half of a program. The remaining amount will be refunded to the student.
Once the student crosses into the second half of the program or passes beyond the halfway point of the program’s maximum enrollment period, there will be no program refund.
Withdrawal after start of a COURSE: If the employer paid.
Note: All Corporate Training Partners are considered Employer Paid.
When a student withdraws from a COURSE that the employer paid. Refunds will be issued as follows:
If the student notified us of the choice to withdraw any time during the first seven days or within the first module of the course, and if the student did not attempt an exam, then the refund will be 100% of the purchase price minus any textbook price, shipping charges. This amount will be held on the employer’s account and applied to the price of another enrollment.
If the student notifies us of the choice to withdraw and requests a refund after attempting an exam or after the first 7 days of a course, there will be no refund given.
Withdrawal after start of a PROGRAM: If the Employer paid
Note: All Corporate Training Partners are considered Employer Paid.
When a student withdraws from a program that the employer paid within 60 days of enrollment, the unused portion of the program can be credited to another employee from the same company only once in this way:
If a student withdraws from a program after consuming 50% or more of the program or after 60 days of enrollment, there is no refund, credit, or re-allocation of time issued to the employer.
If the student was enrolled in a program made up of a number of specific courses – We will calculate the price equivalent for the unused portion of the program (only if the student used less than 50%), minus any textbook price and shipping charges. This amount will be held on the employer’s account and applied to the price of another enrollment.
When a student withdraws from the subscription program that the employer paid, the remaining time on the subscription (if less than 50% was used) can be allocated to another employee from the same company only once. If the student used 50% or more time on the subscription, there will be no refund or allocation.
Other:
Refunds will not be provided for the following courses:
Refunds will be mailed within two weeks after the refund request has been approved.
