This course is provided to instruct the entry level HVAC technician in the common service procedures performed on conventional residential/light commercial cooling systems. These include electrical circuits, mechanical compression refrigeration cycle, necessary components in a cooling system, and more. Instruction aligns with ACCA Quality Installation & Maintenance Standards.
Recommended Prerequisites: This course requires a good understanding of the refrigeration cycle. You will want to have completed 141 HVACR Refrigeration I, or have a working knowledge of the content of that course prior to enrollment into this advanced course.
